Special attention was paid to reproducing the signature dish ware, menu items, and logo in this original illustrated triptych. The client’s goal was to brighten up the street-side, back-of-house windows of the Biscuits Cafe in Wilsonville, Oregon while maintaining a sense of delicious food and homestyle atmosphere.
After a consultation, reference gathering, and sketch phase the final products were three hand-painted, custom food illustrations created with Noodler’s Ink on Arches 300 pound cold press watercolor paper. These were scanned, then printed on 4'x5' vinyl banners and installed in the cafe's windows (pictured above).
Approved color studies for the Biscuits series.
